Timber Rattlesnake

It was at the conclusion of a pleasant hike in the early evening on a warm, summer day when some serious rattling abruptly began just a few feet off the trail.

I find a full grown Timber Rattler to be an awe inspiring creature, but I prefer to not see them this close to me!
